Andrea Dorn

Sixth Grade Homeroom Teacher

Andrea Dorn grew up in the Lansing, Michigan area, attending Emanuel First Lutheran for her early education and Michigan Lutheran Seminary for high school. She further honed her skills by earning a teaching degree from Martin Luther College, specializing in both grade school and high school instruction.

Mrs. Dorn is currently pursuing a master's degree in Educational Technology, which she will complete this coming May. She has dedicated several years to teaching at St. Stephen's in Beaver Dam, serving in various capacities. She joined the Emanuel team in 2023, bringing her wealth of experience to the community.

Andrea's personal life is just as fulfilling as her professional one. She is married to Pastor Dorn and they have three children: Ruth, Leah, and Micah. Two of her daughters attended FVL, while her son is currently enrolled at Emanuel.

Outside of her work, Andrea finds joy in cooking, baking, and indulging in her love of literature. Her life is guided by the inspiring words of Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, keep working at it with all your heart, as for the Lord and not for people, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. Keep serving the Lord Christ!”
