Holly Birkey
Guided Studies Instructor
Holly Birkey, a native of Hot Springs, South Dakota, grew up in the Black Hills. She pursued a degree in Business Management and Marketing at Western Dakota Technical Institute and is currently studying Special Education.
For nearly two decades, Mrs. Birkey has been actively involved in various ministry roles, including Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, youth ministry, and sound technician. Her dedication to service also extended to a two-year stint as a Parish Coordinator at the US Army Garrison Chaplain's office in Germany. Holly joined the Emanuel team in 2021.
Holly resides in New London with her husband Jordan and their two children, Bryghton and Lorelei. While her academic background was in business, a family injury led to a profound shift in her life. Holly discovered a deep calling to support children with disabilities and learning challenges.
In her free time, Holly enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new places. She eagerly anticipates annual visits to her relatives in South Dakota and has a passion for animals, gardening, painting, and kayaking.
