Bev Knudsen

Librarian, Accelerated Reader, and Scrip coordinator

Bev Knudsen, a lifelong member of Emanuel, has been a beloved educator and staff member for over five decades. Bev's journey began at Fox Valley Lutheran and continued at Dr. Martin Luther College, where she developed a deep passion for teaching. She joined the Emanuel faculty in 1968, sharing her love of learning with countless students over the years.

After serving as a classroom teacher for 24 years, Bev transitioned to the role of head librarian, bringing her love of books and knowledge to the school community. She has also served as Accelerated Reader administrator and Scrip Coordinator, demonstrating her commitment to supporting students' academic success.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bev is known for her kind heart and unwavering dedication. She and her late husband, John, were blessed with two daughters and seven grandchildren. When not at Emanuel, Bev enjoys traveling to new places and exploring the world of literature.
